New Start Wednesday 14th March 2012

Sorry folks , Starting a new business and been all over the place , had birthdays , christenings etc so found it hard to stick to diet and exercise

well today i weighed in and im 21stone 5.5lbs  so im starting fresh tommorow

Day 24 Thursday 16th February 2012

ok if any of you have an iphone you have to get the Runkeeper app , the iphone has GPS so if your running/walking/cycling this will tell you you distance and pace per km , and also if u set ur app to walk 1 km in 10mins or whatever your pace is , a voice will come in and tell you wether you are too fast or slow , its the bee's knee's

so today i had 61 of my 62 pro-points and 2.5 litres of water

Day 23 Wednesday 15th February 2012

ok well i was away for a week and when i got home my internet wasnt working ( the missus forgot to pay the bill ) so only re-connected today

so i weighed in last tuesday and was up 3.5 ( thats for the holiday period ) and then weighed in yesterday and i was down 2.5 so im now 297lbs and i need to start making a big dent in that if im to achieve anything near the 5 stone id hope for by july 28th

so last week i started back exercising , no weights at the min , just cardio , so i go up 3 or 4 times a week and im running for 25 mins covering about 2 miles , im running continuously at 8km per hour pace , which isn't fast but you can't walk it either , its a decent jogging pace , so im hoping to get to 30 mins without stopping , im at 20 mins now , and when i can do 30 i'll up the pace from 8 to maybe 8.4 and when im comfy i'll up again and so on .....

i also entered myself into the Dublin Docklands Runs in May and June , first up is a 5km run and then 8km so these are my first runs of any sort ( that you pay for ) and i suppose it will give me something to aim for , my gf is doing it with me

i could have lost more last week but only had 2 days drinking water , and was out friday ( only 4 pints and hot foods , was at a 21st ) and then out sat for a lads night out , so in fairness it could have been 5 or 6 i was down if i hadnt went out or stopped with water

anyway onwards and upwards

Day 8 Tuesday 31st January 2012

well i weighed in today for my first weigh in and i was down 3lbs :)

it could have been more if i exercised and cut some crap out , but its 3 down so not bad

today i had 2 yoghurts for breakfast and a ww meal at lunch ( eating lite ) so it doesnt affect the scales :)

so im down from 299 to 296 :)

Day 7 Monday January 30th 2012

well i had fruit and yoghurt today and then had a baguette with ham and turkey and egg mayo at lunch and then chicken ceasar salad for my dinner today , ive also had 1.5 litres of water , my mater intake all week has been at least 1.5 litres today which im happy about

im feeling good still and motivated after a week , im starting my exercise this week also to help speed up any weightloss

Ok well i had 2 yoghurts for my breakfast and some fruit

me and yvonne and daniel went for a drive to carlow today i think it was 96km from my door to the town of carlow , we then went out to a carvery , where i usually have a dinner and then desert but today i cut out the desert so that was a small change , it hasnt stopped raining today so that doesnt help.

diet today wasn't to bad , i was in my parents house and my mam offered desert as they had just had their dinner , but i smiled and said nope :)

pretty boring day , i stood on the scales this morning and i reckon i was 4lbs lighter , but maybe i was wrong , tuesday's weigh in will show me

Day 5 Saturday 27th January 2012

ok well i woke up today and had breaky yayyyy , i then went up to clear out my garden in my house that i rent out , my last tenants left it like a tip , not surprising as they were settled travellers ( didnt know at the start ) then i watched Liverpool beat the manc scum yayyyyy then i went back up to do some more work till 5 , my cocsic ( lower back ) is killing me i have to sit on my side to aleviate the pain

my diet was spot on today with me eating 4 pieces of fruit and eating 61/63 pro-points , ive had 2 cups of tea today and that is my only liquid intake , so i realise i slipping with my water consumption , on a plus side i used to drink 2 or 3 cans of diet coke a day but since tuesday i havn't had any :) even tho its 0 pro-points , its not good for your teeth or your insides

im chilling now relaxing as the gf is out on her work leaving do ( starts a new better job in the hermitage hospital on wed ) so im babysitting my little man daniel :) , its 9.49pm now and he's in bed and im watching the graham norton show , i must say after the work today i can't wait to go to bed , im in the middle of reading " The Idiot Abroad travel diary of Karl Pilkington " and i have to say im loving it , ive never been a reader , this being my 2nd book , the first was " a blokes guide to fatherhood "

anyway till tommorow , i hope next week to be posting weight achievments and measurement changes and exercise regime
