ok if any of you have an iphone you have to get the Runkeeper app , the iphone has GPS so if your running/walking/cycling this will tell you you distance and pace per km , and also if u set ur app to walk 1 km in 10mins or whatever your pace is , a voice will come in and tell you wether you are too fast or slow , its the bee's knee's
so today i had 61 of my 62 pro-points and 2.5 litres of water

Day 23 Wednesday 15th February 2012
ok well i was away for a week and when i got home my internet wasnt working ( the missus forgot to pay the bill ) so only re-connected today
so i weighed in last tuesday and was up 3.5 ( thats for the holiday period ) and then weighed in yesterday and i was down 2.5 so im now 297lbs and i need to start making a big dent in that if im to achieve anything near the 5 stone id hope for by july 28th
so last week i started back exercising , no weights at the min , just cardio , so i go up 3 or 4 times a week and im running for 25 mins covering about 2 miles , im running continuously at 8km per hour pace , which isn't fast but you can't walk it either , its a decent jogging pace , so im hoping to get to 30 mins without stopping , im at 20 mins now , and when i can do 30 i'll up the pace from 8 to maybe 8.4 and when im comfy i'll up again and so on .....
i also entered myself into the Dublin Docklands Runs in May and June , first up is a 5km run and then 8km so these are my first runs of any sort ( that you pay for ) and i suppose it will give me something to aim for , my gf is doing it with me
i could have lost more last week but only had 2 days drinking water , and was out friday ( only 4 pints and hot foods , was at a 21st ) and then out sat for a lads night out , so in fairness it could have been 5 or 6 i was down if i hadnt went out or stopped with water

well i weighed in today for my first weigh in and i was down 3lbs :)
it could have been more if i exercised and cut some crap out , but its 3 down so not bad
today i had 2 yoghurts for breakfast and a ww meal at lunch ( eating lite ) so it doesnt affect the scales :)
so im down from 299 to 296 :)

Day 7 Monday January 30th 2012
well i had fruit and yoghurt today and then had a baguette with ham and turkey and egg mayo at lunch and then chicken ceasar salad for my dinner today , ive also had 1.5 litres of water , my mater intake all week has been at least 1.5 litres today which im happy about
im feeling good still and motivated after a week , im starting my exercise this week also to help speed up any weightloss

Ok well i had 2 yoghurts for my breakfast and some fruit
me and yvonne and daniel went for a drive to carlow today i think it was 96km from my door to the town of carlow , we then went out to a carvery , where i usually have a dinner and then desert but today i cut out the desert so that was a small change , it hasnt stopped raining today so that doesnt help.
diet today wasn't to bad , i was in my parents house and my mam offered desert as they had just had their dinner , but i smiled and said nope :)
pretty boring day , i stood on the scales this morning and i reckon i was 4lbs lighter , but maybe i was wrong , tuesday's weigh in will show me

Day 5 Saturday 27th January 2012
ok well i woke up today and had breaky yayyyy , i then went up to clear out my garden in my house that i rent out , my last tenants left it like a tip , not surprising as they were settled travellers ( didnt know at the start ) then i watched Liverpool beat the manc scum yayyyyy then i went back up to do some more work till 5 , my cocsic ( lower back ) is killing me i have to sit on my side to aleviate the pain
my diet was spot on today with me eating 4 pieces of fruit and eating 61/63 pro-points , ive had 2 cups of tea today and that is my only liquid intake , so i realise i slipping with my water consumption , on a plus side i used to drink 2 or 3 cans of diet coke a day but since tuesday i havn't had any :) even tho its 0 pro-points , its not good for your teeth or your insides
im chilling now relaxing as the gf is out on her work leaving do ( starts a new better job in the hermitage hospital on wed ) so im babysitting my little man daniel :) , its 9.49pm now and he's in bed and im watching the graham norton show , i must say after the work today i can't wait to go to bed , im in the middle of reading " The Idiot Abroad travel diary of Karl Pilkington " and i have to say im loving it , ive never been a reader , this being my 2nd book , the first was " a blokes guide to fatherhood "
anyway till tommorow , i hope next week to be posting weight achievments and measurement changes and exercise regime

ok well i got up extra early to have my breakfast only to find the skimmed milk sour and lumpy and the date on the carton says Feb 4th and its been in the fridge ( that ever happen to anyone ?? )
my day was pretty normal other than that , i had 22 pro-points at 8pm last night and then i was meeting my boss about a new business venture and we looked at a premises in Phibsboro and then went the porterhouse north pub to have a drink and chat some more , however i had food and not a great choice i had chunky chips and a big burger , it was gorgeous but i felt like crap afterwards with myself because i should have said no , other than that i have been ok all week , well since tuesday
i had a litre of water today , i need to keep that in my mind and keep drinking water as it holds hunger at bay

Day 3 Thursday 26th January 2012
Well today didn't start great , i slept it in and had to drop my son off at his grandmothers so i was rushing , i did have my lunch with me which was something i suppose ( need to have my shit more organised in future )
today i had a whopping 7 slices of bread ( seriously need to change this as its not good at all ) , i joined a gym last week with the gf as we bring the little lad swimming once a week and it costs us €12 between us each time , so over a year thats like €600 so the gym had a dual membership for €500 so it seems like a no-brainer , we get to go the gym as often as we like and bring the little lad swimming all for €500 a year ( yay )
I've had a problem with my back for a few years , combination of bad posture , weight , height , it gives me alot of pain somedays ( well most days , its just tolerable some days ) so i went and had an MRI done on my back by my gf's job ( she's a Radiographer ) so it was free :) ( result ) and it shows i have 2 discs slightly pushing into my spinal chord which is giving me the pains , so they suggested diet , anti-inflamatories , exercise , and see how i am in a few weeks , and failing that ive to go see an orthopedic surgeon for more info on whats needed ( hopefully it won't get that far )
so at this min , im trying to get my house which i rent out ready for new tenants as my last ones wrecked my house ( don't ask ) so this week my evenings are tied to that , but next week i will be hitting the gym on my lunch breaks , as i get an hour and the gym is 5 mins away so id get a decent 50 mins under my belt , as i dont want all my evenings consumed by the gym as me and the gf need ( us ) time and to unwind etc
so today i was a little piglet i ate 4 over my 63 pro-points , but im gonna use them 4 off my 49 weeklys :)
i also had 2 litres of water today and peeing like a racehourse

Ok well today i had breakfast , which i usually don't , i had 2 weetabix and 1/4 litre of skimmed milk so that was nice , my problem is im allowed 63 pro-points a day and id find it hard to eat all them if i was eating 100 % healthy , as veg is free , fruit aswell so im gonna have to think this through over the next few days , do i eat big dinners ? or 5 smallish ones ?? also my other problem was that i wasn't drinking enough water , actually wasn't drinking any , so ive started to rectify that today starting with a 2 litre bottle which im nearly finished :)

Day 1 Tuesday 24th January 2012
About me , Well im 31 Male and 6"2 in height and later on this evening i will know my starting weight as im back at Weight Watchers ( Cringe ) , I have a gf ( Yvonne ) and 1 year old son ( Daniel ) who are my life , I work as an accounts clerk for a building company for the past 12 years and sit on my ass all day in work and then i go home and sit on my ass all eveing and doss on the laptop or watch tv.
I know this isn't good and im gonna start to change , i realise it won't all happen straight away , but if i implement little things slowly but gradually then i hope i can find some long lasting weightloss and health.
I also love music and play in a acoustic cover band covering anything from stevie wonder to train to the beatles , we are just a 3 piece and play around dublin mostly.
So im gonna post every Tuesday Evening my weight loss or gain in Weight Watchers and also my body measurements as i bought a myotape measure tape , will post picture later , and also pictures of my progress with my face blurred out obviously :) , wish me luck
